A World Bank online article last week took a look at how Economics and Politics work with or against each other. Some of the questions at “Economists in Politics: Politicians or Technocrats?” of the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management (PREM) Knowledge and Learning Forum 2007 to be held for two weeks for the technocrat and the politician include how one sphere is relevant to the other and how the dynamics of either sphere influences the other.
